Bed and breakfast accommodation near Land's End in Cornwall

Travel information

Arriving by air:

Newquay is the nearest airport which is approximately 45 miles from Land’s End.  Hiring a car is therefore recommended.  Flights and routes are changing all the time so please check the latest situation on the Newquay Airport website.  Currently there are direct flights to Gatwick, Heathrow, Manchester, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Newcastle, Glasgow, Dublin,  Belfast, Stansted, East Midlands, Malaga, Alicante, Copenhagen, Zurich, Dusseldorf, Faro and the Isles of Scilly – many of these are for the summer season only.

Arriving by rail:

Great Western operates trains from London Paddington to Penzance (note there is an overnight sleeper service which runs Monday to Friday between Paddington and Penzance and on Sunday nights – prices are reasonable if you can get an apex fare), Cross Country Trains operate from the north of England and Scotland to Penzance. A taxi from the station costs approximately £30 and takes 20 minutes – the bus station is adjacent to the train station at Penzance but please be aware that in the winter the last bus does leave Penzance quite early – see www.travelinesw.com for more details.

Car hire:

This is available adjacent to Penzance station through Europcar. You could also consider hiring a Classic Car.

Arriving by coach:

National Express operates coaches from all over the UK to Penzance.

Arriving by bus:

The bus station is adjacent to the railway station in Penzance.

The bus stop is at the top of the lane leading to Treeve Moor House/Cottage.

If you are coming here to be peaceful, walk the coastal path and go to the local beach then it’s fine to have no car. However, if you want to explore further afield I would recommend hiring a car because the bus timetables can severely restrict your movements, particularly in the evenings. To find out more about bus times in the area look on www.travelinesw.com.

Arriving on foot from the coastal path at Treeve Moor House, Land’s End:

There is a footpath which goes directly past Treeve Moor from Sennen Cove, or from Nanjizal which can be clearly seen on the map, or you can walk up from Land’s End on the A30 and I am the first house on the left OPPOSITE the turning to Porthcurno. The house is situated at SW353 251.
